ANUEL PACHECO GASPAR It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Manuel Pacheco Gaspar, on October 8, 1999 with his wife Maria Natalia at his side. Predeceased by his parents, Joao and Gloria Gaspar; sisters, Teresa Medeiros, Luiza Pacheco; brother Francisco Gaspar; mother-in-law Irene Da Camara. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving and devoted wife of 45 years; his two daughters, Natalie and husband Jose Diogo, Fatima and husband Klaus Kostas; grandchildren, Jose Manuel and wife Megan Diogo, Paul Edward and wife Helina Diogo, Michael Angelo Diogo, Mark Paul Kostas; great-grandchildren, Alisa Marie Diogo, Brett Ryan Diogo. He also leaves sisters, Maria Ermelinda Santos (Wpg), Olivia Tavares (Montreal) brother Jose and wife Fernanda Gaspar (Kitimat), Joao and Deulinda Gaspar (Portugal) brother-in-law Manuel Pacheco (Wpg), sisters-in-law Maria Teresa Gaspar (USA), Natevidade De Melo (Wpg), Angela and husband Jose Eduardo Constantino (Portugal), many nieces, nephews and God children. Manuel was born in S. Miguel, Acores, Portugal and came to Canada with his family in November 1968, to give his family a better life. And he did, for this we thank you. You were always there for us no matter what was needed, at times even before we knew we needed it. Many thanks to the nurses on 5th Floor, U4 Seven Oaks General Hospital for the compassion and care of Dad and to Mom. Prayers will be said on Monday, October 11 at 7:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin Street North. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 12 at 9:00 a.m. also at the church with Rev. Father Jose Medeiros, OFM, Conv. will officiate. Interment will follow. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
