PEARL YANCHUK (nee WARYWODA) Peacefully in her sleep on October 8, 1999, Pearl Yanchuk, dearly beloved wife and sister, passed away at her residence. Pearl was born in Eastdale, Manitoba on November 7, 1917. Survived by her loving husband of 59 years, John, she also leaves to mourn her sisters, Annie Sichello and Minnie Keith; brothers, Fred, John, Steve (Frances) and George Warywoda and many nieces and nephews. Pearl always shared a special place in her heart for her niece Trudy. She was predeceased by her parents Wasyl and Palagia; sister Mary Prokop and brother Mike Warywoda. Pearl was an active member of the C.W.L. at St. Peter and Paul Parish at Cloverleaf, Manitoba. She was an avid gardener and loved to putter around her flowers. She enjoyed sharing her home with family and friends, making certain you shared in her baking and cooking. She will be truly missed by many. Prayers will be offered on Tuesday, October 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Mass to follow on Wednesday, October 13 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter and Paul Church, Cloverleaf, with Father Sholdak officiating. Interment will take place at Eastdale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, memorial donations may be made to the Eastdale Cemetery Special Fund.
