Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET B. MOORE (nee RUTHERFORD) Margaret Moore, widow of the late Thomas Moore passed away peacefully on October 8, 1999 at the age of 85. She is survived by her daughter Pam Whitehead (Bill) and a son Peter Moore (Linda) all of Winnipeg, as well as many nieces and nephews. Margaret was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta and graduated as an RN. The family moved to Winnipeg in the late forties and resided at 500 Academy Road. She spent the last two years happily in the Wellington on Grant Avenue. She was interested in crafts and was active with the Craft Guild of Manitoba for many years. She was also an active longtime member of her Bridge and Mahjongg Clubs, but most of all Margaret loved to entertain family and friends from near and far. She was predeceased by her pioneer parents, John and Ada (Ireland) Rutherford and her four brothers, and after fifty years of marriage, her husband Tom in 1992, and a daughter Penny in 1945. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. Thursday October 14 at 1:00 p.m. with the service conducted by Padre Stan Millar.
