Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUDOLPH GESKE (RUDY) Peacefully on Friday, October 8, with his family by his side. Rudy is survived by his wife of 44 years, Margaret and their children Charlene (Nick), Douglas (Ursala) and Charisse (Barry) his precious grandchildren Ian and Taryn; his brothers and sisters Fred (Elsie), Lawrence (Babe), Olga Gable, Martha Spittal, Bertha Hoffman, Norma Flemming and Lorraine Berryman; along with many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his sisters Lily Schiewe, Wanda Harrison, Lydia Kehler and brother Gus. Born July 1, 1918 in Camper, Man., to Edward and Ida, Rudy grew up on the family farm. He later began his career with MTS where he worked until his retirement after 34 years of service. He met and married Margaret (Vigfusson) and together they made their home in Riverton. Rudy loved to work in his yard and garden, tinker in his shed and on his cars. He enjoyed visiting with family and friends and, while his health allowed, riding his bicycle around town. He was a gentle and kind man who loved children, music and his family. Thank you to the home care staff and nurses, Dr. David Murray, the doctors and nurses of Arborg Hospital, The Health Sciences Centre and the Arborg and Riverton Ambulance Services. As were his wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no service. A private family interment will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Deer Lodge Centre Foundation, 2109 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3J 0L3. Youll be forever in our hearts and memories. We love you Rudy, Dad and Grandpa Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
