ETHEL MAY ANGUS (DOWNING) Died peacefully with her children at her side, October 9, 1999 at the Seven Oaks General Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband William Robert Angus in 1983 and brother Norman Ernest Downing in 1998. Ethel will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children, William James Angus, Hazel M. Streilein (George), Charlotte E. McRae (Edward) and Henry A. (Alice (Penny)) Angus; grandchildren, David McRae, Donald (Cathy) McRae, Timothy (Cindy) McRae, Todd Angus (Sheryl Hildebrand) and Troy (Elaine) Angus; and brothers and sisters, Leonard, George, Alfred, Gladys Macmillan and Mary Berkowski. Ethel was born October 13, 1914 at Starbuck, Manitoba. She married William Robert Angus in 1935 in Winnipeg. After marriage, they lived in Warren district until 1938 and then moved to Angusville for a year. They returned to Marquette for a short while before moving to Winnipeg, where she resided until her death. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 13 at 2:00 p.m. with viewing one hour prior at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Interment Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, Garden of Devotion. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ethels memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, Canadian Cancer Society, Manitoba Division or a charity of ones choice.
