LEON DeSMET Peacefully on Saturday, October 9, 1999 at the Lorne Memorial Hospital, Swan Lake, Manitoba, Leon DeSmet, aged 85 years of Swan Lake, beloved husband of Elizabeth DeSmet (nee Van Damme). Prayers will be said from the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Swan Lake on Tuesday, October 12 at 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated from the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Swan Lake on Tuesday, October 12, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the Swan Lake Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Leons memory to the Arthritis Society, Ste 105-386 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 3R6, or to the Parkinson Foundation of Canada, 825 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1M5.
