DAVID INGIMUNDSON After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with deep sorrow that his family announces the peaceful passing of David Ingimundson on October 9, 1999 at the age of 56 in the St. Boniface General Hospital. His loving wife Honey will sadly miss her husband of 32 years. Davids passing will be mourned by his children, Marc (Barb), Jason, Cara; and his two grandchildren, Benjamin and Brendan. David is also survived by his mother, Eunice; sisters, Janice, Dianne (Adam) Rusak; nephews, Chris, Rob, David; nieces, Cheryl and Carla; and mother-in-law Etta Rayter. He touched the lives of all those who knew him. He will be sadly missed by his good friends and family. Davids father Finny predeceased him in 1975. David was born on September 22, 1943 in Selkirk, Manitoba. He grew up in West Kildonan, where he attended Luxton, St. Johns and Tec Voc Schools. David worked for the CNR before entering the computer field. He finishes as the MIS manager at Gemini Fashions and a member of the Gemini (2 hour) Lunch Club. David enjoyed spending his summers at his cottage in Winnipeg Beach. He was a devoted family man and a sports enthusiast; his early years as a participant in hockey and baseball, and his later years as a parent, fan and coach. David enjoyed watching his children grow. He spent many a day and night in hockey arenas watching his two sons play hockey and his daughter play ringette. David spent 19 years coaching minor hockey. Our family wishes to extend a special thank you to all the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the St. Boniface General Hospital for all their care and kindness. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2:00 p.m. at the Bnay Abraham Synagogue, 235 Enniskillen Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Davids memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 9Z9 or the Palliative Care Union (3E) at the St. Boniface General Hospital.
