GORDON CECIL BICKERTON With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Gordon Cecil Bickerton on October 11, 1999 after a lengthy illness. Dad was born on October 27, 1912 at the Grace Hospital. He and his family lived in Elkhorn. When Dad was 9 years old, the family moved to Winnipeg where he resided until his passing. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Blanche of 59 years, and his loving daughter Pearl. Gordon was predeceased by four brothers and one sister and has one surviving sister, Margaret, of Kelowna, B.C. and many nieces and nephews. Gordon and Blanche farmed in the Rosser District for many years. He began working for the Provincial Public Works in 1956 until his retirement in 1977. Gordon loved to garden. It was Gordons desire not to have a funeral service. His ashes will be laid to rest in the family plot at Chapel Lawn Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Johnson at the Westbrook Medical Centre and the staff at GD4, GH4 and GB2 wards for the excellent care provided to Dad. Resting in the arms of God.
