MARY OLIVE DOWLING Peacefully on October 11, 1999 at the Deer Lodge Centre, Mary Olive Dowling, aged 83 years, beloved wife of the late Blair M. Dowling. Mrs. Dowling was born and raised in Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her husband Blair in 1979. Surviving are her son Garry (Wendy) Dowling and their children Deanna, all of London, ON and Chris of Toronto; son Charles (Rose) Dowling of Winnipeg; daughter Melody (Brian) Terin and their children, Nathan and Jill all of Winnipeg; sister Sadie Andre of Vancouver; and brother John Henry Mobsby of Winnipeg. She will also be sadly missed by her very dear friend Aunt Lill Evans and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 16 at 1:00 p.m. in Garry Memorial Park, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Special thanks is extended to the staff of Unit 5 of the Victoria Hospital for the compassionate care given Mrs. Dowling during her six month stay there.
