ROSE (PEGGY) GREGORCHUK October 15, 1924 - October 10, 1999 Rose, surrounded by her children, John, Mary, David and Paul, passed away on October 10, 1999 at the St. Boniface General Hospital. She is also survived by grandchildren, Katrina, Krista, Michael and Julie and great-grandchildren, Tyler and Jennifer. Rose was born in Manchester, England and came to Canada in 1946 as a war bride. During her lifetime, she travelled far and wide across Canada as a result of many military postings, while making many friends with whom she remained in contact over the years, and who remember her fondly. She raised four children with whom she enjoyed outdoor camping and fishing. Finally settling in Winnipeg, she became an avid outdoor gardener and indoor plant enthusiast in addition to many other interests. Rose was a people person and enjoyed meeting and talking to everyone. A memorial service will be conducted by Rev. Judy Johnson on Thursday, October 14 at 3:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the Doctors and nursing staff at the St. Boniface General Hospital for the very special care and attention that Rose was given.
