Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILLIAN BUCKOWSKI (BUCKLER) (nee LYSAK) It is with deep sorrow that the family of Lillian Buckowski announce her passing on October 12, 1999 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Our mother suffered through many years of ill health which she faced with great courage. Her positive attitude during this time was an inspiration to us all. Lillian was born on December 24, 1912 and except for a few years, spent in Regina, SK after her marriage to Walter Buckowski, she spent her entire life in Winnipeg. Mother loved her family dearly. She was a kind, warm, generous lady who made friends easily. Caring for her home and garden always gave her much happiness. Mom loved to cook and share recipes with family and friends. Left to mourn are her children, Daniel Buckler of Edmonton, Judy (Myron) Bielak of Winnipeg and Marlene (Michael) Zahar of Switzerland; grandchildren, Kelly (Brian) Wiens and Tom Buckler of Edmonton, Daniel Bielak of Winnipeg, Cory Bielak of California, Kyle Zahar of Switzerland, three great-grandchildren, Alex, Jocelyn and Amelia Wiens of Edmonton; also sisters, Madeline Price and Rose Nykon; sister-in-law Jean Sobie. Lillian was predeceased by her husband Walter and sisters, Ann Torch, Mary Lysak and Jessie Cherniak. The family thanks all those who had a part in Mothers health care over the years, especially Dr. Ramsey, Julie, Ursula, Linda and also the staff on 3rd Floor of the Seven Oaks Hospital. Viewing will be held on Saturday morning, October 16 at St. Johns Cantius Church, 846 Burrows Ave. at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Henry Uczniak officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lillians memory to a charity of ones choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements - 586-8044.
