KENNETH RONALD CRAIG RUE March 29, 1925 - October 11, 1999 After a brief illness, Ken died with his family at his side. He was predeceased by his wife Alice and brother Rod of Ottawa. He leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memory son Doug (Renate), daughter Jerri; sisters, Margaret Walsh of Ottawa and Barbara of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Steven, Pamela (Troy), Michael, Christine, and many foster grandchildren. Ken was born and educated in Winnipeg. After serving in the R.C.A.F. during the war, he started his career with Canadian Pacific Railway. There he met and later married Alice. Ken took early retirement in 1980 from the Burlington Northern Railroad. The family thanks all the staff who cared for Ken at St. Boniface Hospital, especially Fern. Dad held you dear as his guardian angel. Immediate cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Sanford United Church, Main St. at Mandan, Sanford, MB, Friday, October 15 at 2:00 p.m. For those who wish, remembrances can be made to St. Boniface Hospital, Hemodyalasis, Skin and Wound Unit, 409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg. Rest in peace now Dad, your strength and love will carry us through.
