Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCATHERINE WIER (SCOTTY) TYERMAN Catherine Wier (Scotty), beloved wife of Arthur E., passed away peacefully at her Kemnay home on October 12, 1999 after a lengthy illness. Catherine was born in Bathgate, Scotland on February 3, 1927. She met and married Arthur on June 2, 1945. She came to Canada as a war bride in June of 1946 where they resided in Tisdale, SK until moving to Winnipeg in 1954 to raise their family. They retired to Kemnay in 1988. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Margaret Stewart of Scotland; sisters, Maggie (Archie) McTavish of Scotland and Martha (Herb) Green of Newfoundland and son Gordon Lloyd of Calgary. She is survived by her loving husband Arthur of 54 years; daughters, Margaret Tyerman of Eganville, ON and Sheila (Barry) Reynolds of Brandon and grandchildren, Jason (Meighen) Reynolds of Brandon, Amber (Steve) Swant of Eganville, ON, Kris (Melanie) Reynolds of Manitou, MB, Allisa Coe of Guelph, ON and Bradley Reynolds of Williams Lake, BC as well as her great-grandchildren, Ainsley, Chantelle and Zachary Reynolds of Brandon, Melody and Kaitlyn Reynolds of Manitou and Danielle Swant of Eganville. Private graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Catherine may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 42 McTavish Avenue E., Brandon, R7A 2B2. Catherine will be loved and missed by her friends and family. Arrangements are in care of Brockie Donovan, Brandon, 1-800-897-5694.
