KATHARINA SYVERTSEN 1906 - 1999 Peacefully on Tuesday evening, October 12, 1999, Katharina (Tina) Syvertsen passed away at Vista Park Lodge, at the age of 93 years. Tina was predeceased by her husband Finn; brothers, Jake, Bill, Cornie, Pete and Abe, and her sisters Mary, Nettie, Annie and Helen. She is survived by her brother John and sister-in-law Helen, and numerous nieces and nephews. Tina also leaves to mourn many friends. Tina was born Katharina Peters on January 1, 1906 in the Winkler area. She married Finn Syvertsen in 1949. They lived happily together until Finns passing in 1984. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson Foundation of Canada. Special thanks to the caring staff of Vista Park Lodge. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 18, at Lutheran Church of the Cross, 560 Arlington St., with Pastor Christoph Reiners officiating. Viewing one hour prior to the service.
