JOHN G. KLASSEN John Klassen, born October 27, 1943 went to be with his Lord on October 14, 1999. John reached the age of 55 years. He is survived by his two daughters, Christine and Emery Falk, and Suzanne and Gaetan Sabourin; two grandsons, Shane and Dawson; and by his second wife Phyllis Klassen. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Susan and Henry Harder, Doris Stepa, M.J. Klassen, Jake Klassen, Anne and Harry Neufeld, Kathy Klassen, Marge and Frank Wiebe, and Helen and Dennis Dicks. John was predeceased by his first wife Linda (Cullum) in 1993; father Jacob Klassen in 1985; mother Susanna (Gerbrandt) in 1983 and brother Ed Klassen in 1998. He will also be missed by his in-laws, Bev and Larry Simpson and Wayne and June Cullum, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 18 at 2:00 p.m. in the Kronsweide Sommerfelder Mennonite Church, southwest of Lowe Farm. Interment in the Kronsweide Cemetery. Viewing at the funeral home Sunday from 1:00 - 9:00 p.m. and at the church following the service. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Childrens Wish Foundation. Arrangements by the Morris Funeral Home, 746-2451. FISHERMANS PRAYER God grant that I may live to fish until my dying day, And when it comes to my last cast I then most humbly pray: When in the Lords safe landing net I am peacefully asleep, That in His mercy I be judged as big enough to keep.
