MELANIE NOLETTE It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the peaceful passing of Melanie Nolette (nee Robert), wife of the late Albert Nolette, On October 13, 1999 at the Victoria General Hospital at the age of 84 years 11 months. Melanie was predeceased by her husband Albert (l998) a son Paul (1998) an infant daughter Marie in 1948; and a son-in-law, Cliff Beall (1999). She was a special mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who surely will be missed by her children, Claude (Lisa), Claudette Baril (Paul), Gerald, Gisele (Oliver Arnaud), Raymond (Betty), Jacqueline Filbert (Dave), Robert (Carol), Monique Pfund (Peter), Anita Beall; her daughter-in-law Adele (Paul) her sister Laurette Denomme; her sisters-in-law, Therese Robert and Dorothy Nolette; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Mom was born in 1914 in Ste. Agathe and together with her husband resided on the farm in the Union Point district until her demise. Moms love of the great outdoors made her stay on the family farm very enjoyable. For the last two years, because of failing health, she could be seen riding her golf cart around the farmyard tending to her animals and her garden. Funeral mass, presided by Father Dominic Umoh will be held on Tuesday, October 19 at 7:00 p.m. in the Ste. Agathe Roman Catholic Church. Interment will take place at a later date in the Ste. Agathe Cemetery. The family would like to express its gratitude to Dr. Pacin and to Dr. Maurice Roy, to Ivy and her compassionate caring staff on the third floor at Victoria General Hospital and also to Father Patrick Morand for his spiritual support.
