CLIFFORD JAMES PILBEAM On Monday, October 4, 1999, Mr. Clifford James Pilbeam, beloved husband of Mrs. Evelyn Pilbeam, went home to be with the Lord at the age of 74 years. Besides his loving wife, Mr. Pilbeam will be sadly missed by his sister Christina Webb (Steve) his children, Connie Bardzey (Robert), Don Pilbeam (Linda), Bill Pilbeam (Toni) and Wayne Cowan (Janice) grandchildren, Heather, Carrie, Darren, Gary, Cory, Sue, Sean and Heather; also by many nieces and nephews. Cliff was born in Winnipeg, April 5, 1925 where he worked as a postman and later for the Dept. of Agriculture. He was a member of Ancient Landmark Lodge for 31 years and a member of the Khartum Temple. He retired and moved to Penticton in 1980. Cliff enjoyed fishing, golfing and square dancing but his favourite thing to do was spend time with his grandchildren. A Memorial service for Mr. Pilbeam will be held at the Fort Rouge Legion, 426 Osborne St. on Monday, October 18 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Stan Miller officiating. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
