Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET (PEGGY) RAFTER On Wednesday, October 13, 1999 Peggy Rafter of Napanee, Ontario, formerly of Dauphin, Manitoba, passed away after 86 years of life. Peggy was predeceased by her husband Michael (Mike) in 1983. She is survived by her son Jack (Pat) of Napanee; son Jerry (Judy) of Cherry Hill, New Jersey; daughter Faye (Jim) of Edmonton; daughter Sharon (Zenon) of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Heather, Lorraine, Shannon, Lisa, Jody, Jeffrey, Jason, Todd, Michael, Laurie, Lynn and seven great-grandchildren. Peggy was born in Armpior, Ontario, August 29, 1913 and was married to Michael Rafter in 1934. After several moves through Ontario and Northern Manitoba, they settled in Dauphin and resided there for 50 years. While living in Dauphin Peggy was employed at the Fashion Shoppe and was actively involved with the Catholic Womans League and was a life member. She will fondly be remembered by her numerous friends and family. At Peggys request cremation has taken place and a prayer graveside service will be held on Friday, October 22 at 2:30 p.m. at the Riverside Cemetery, following interment a reception will be held at St. Viators, Monseigneur Currie Hall. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Manitoba Division, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3G 1S6.
