Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLGA WASYLKIW (CHARAMBURA) October 25, 1904 - October 12, 1999 Peacefully, early Tuesday morning, Olga passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Steve; son Eugene and stepdaughter Ann Ruta. Baba was born in Ukraine and came to Winnipeg in 1934. She spent most of her life as a fur-finisher at Hecht and Gowran Furs where she was in great demand. Baba was always an independent woman who cared a great deal about her family. Baba will be lovingly remembered by her son Ray Charambura (Yolande) special grandchildren, Rik (Ann and their daughter Rowan), who devoted so much time with her, Gayle (daughter Kali) daughter-in-law Ollie and granddaughters, Sandra (Mathew, Jacqueline) and Katherine (Taylor) treasured by stepson Mike Wasylkiw (Shirley) as well as Paul Ruta and his children, Michael, Terry, Tom and Catherine; numerous great-grandchildren; great-niece Dzvinka, and many other relatives in Canada, the United States and Ukraine. A special thank you to Nelly and all of Olgas friends at St. Josaphats for their special care and attention in recent months. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 19 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. with interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. Sleep in peace Baba.
