Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE GOBEIL Peacefully on Thursday, October 14, 1999 at the Bethesda Hospital, Steinbach, Irene Gobeil of Ste. Anne, MB beloved wife of Peter Gobeil, passed away at the age of 47 years. Funeral service will be held at the Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 20 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Edward Bonin officiating. Interment will follow in the churchyard cemetery. Friends may call for visitation prior to the church service. Irene was born on November 2, 1951 to Emile and Aurise Delorme at St. Pierre. In 1971 Irene married Peter Gobeil of South Junction, where they resided, later moving to Winnipeg, Lorette and to Ste. Anne where they presently resided. Irene was a member of Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church. Her hobbies included crafts, sewing, painting, folk-art and dancing. And most of all she enjoyed being with her friends. Irene is predeceased by her parents and brother Raymond; She leaves to mourn her passing her husband Peter; son Marc and daughter Lynn. Also surviving her are brother Richard Delorme of Winnipeg and sisters, Cecile (Andre) Bernardin, Steinbach, Aurore (Roger) Penner of Medicine Hat, AB, Emily (Jake) Dueck, Ginette (Abe) Dueck both of Steinbach and Aurise (Wayne) MacFarlene of St. Pierre; parents-in-law Paul and Mary Gobeil; two brothers-in-law; five sisters-in-law and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, 790 Bay St. Suite 1000, Toronto, ON M5G 1N8.
