ISABEL ANN THOMSON Suddenly on October 14, 1999, Isabel passed away at her residence, 940 Holly Avenue, in Fort Garry. Predeceased by her mother Connie and Step mother Ida, she leaves to mourn her father (Bill), sister Susan (Bob) and special friend Taylor Love. Isabel was born in Huddersfield England, coming to Canada in 1950, and Winnipeg via Toronto and Thunder Bay in 1958. Isabel will be long remembered by members of Southwood Golf and Country Club having served as seamstress in her fathers Pro Shop for many years. A multi talented crafter, Isabel was an accomplished artist, one who loved painting, good music, hosting dinner parties, sewing and knitting for others and had served as a Volunteer at the Victoria General Hospital. Cremation has taken place, and a Service of Remembrance will be held at the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday October 20, with Padre Stan Millar officiating. Interment will follow in Garry Memorial Park, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. A reception will follow in the reception lounge at Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. LEATHERDALE GARDINER 1501 Waverley Street 949-4860
