TIMOTEO BASA Peacefully, surrounded by his family Timoteo Basa passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital on October 16, 1999. He will be lovingly missed by his wife, Dominga of 51 years; children, Linda (Celso), Efren (Sally), Nelia (Bernie) and Larcy (Chris) and seven grandchildren all of Winnipeg, also Carina (David), Alicia (Jamin), Melencio (Gloria), Pollie (Tony) and 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren all from the Philippines. He was predeceased by his daughter Francisca in 1981. Tatay was born on January 24, 1927 in Cavite, Philippines. He was a member of the Philippines Veteran Association for many years. He was a loving father and a good provider for a family of nine children. HE WILL BE SADLY MISSED BY ALL THAT KNEW HIM. Lamay will be held at the Knysh Funeral Chapel 1020 Main St. on Monday and Tuesday October 18 and 19 from 6:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Philippines.
