ANGUS MILLER Angus died peacefully on Saturday, October 16, 1999, at the age of 94 years. Angus was predeceased by his wife, Kay (nee Moffat), in 1962. He will be remembered with love by all who knew him, particularly by his daughter Helen Miller and her partner Edmond Rossier, daughter Marilyn Miller, granddaughter Alison Palser and her partner Todd Weeks, surrogate daughter Elaine Heinicke and extended family Roger and Lynne Palser. Angus remained mentally alert and independent to the end. He was known for his insatiable curiosity about the sciences, his wry sense of humour, his love of philosophical discussions, and his courtesy and consideration of others. Animals were always a great source of joy. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 20 at 3:30 p.m. in The Convalescent Home of Winnipeg, 276 Hugo St. North. Anguss family thanks all who cared for him over the last several years. Donations to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB), 1080 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3G 9Z9 or The Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg MB R3L 1X3, would be appreciated, in lieu of flowers.
