Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE ROBERT BOUTTELL May 20, 1923 - October 18, 1999 Peacefully after a brief illness, George Bouttell passed away at the Grace Hospital. George was predeceased by his mother Elizabeth and father George. He is survived by Jane Fiddler (Henry) and family, Lou Mulley, Bruce (Gerrie) and family, Carol (Ian) and family, and David Mulley, all in Canada; Rosemary Taylor (George) and family, Betty and Gerald Bouttell in England. George was a long time resident of Brooklands and Weston until retiring to Courts of St. James in 1989. He was a lifetime member of St. Thomas Anglican Church and served many positions on church executive. George was a jeweler by trade, employed 40 years at Clay Law, but he had many other interests and hobbies. He was one of the founders of Little People of Manitoba. He enjoyed photography, oil painting, public speaking, model trains and travelling. His favourite trip was to the cottage at Ingolf, Ontario. He also traveled by car, train and plane throughout Canada, USA and England. Many thanks to special life time friends from St. Thomas and new friends acquired through clubs and the Courts for making his life so full. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 20 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Anglican Church, 1567 William Avenue with Reverend Ken Garrity officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Georges memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301 - 352 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8 or to St. Thomas Anglican Church Building Fund.
