JESSIE MAE RESHAUR (nee JACK) Following a lengthy illness, Jessie peacefully passed away on October 17, 1999 at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg. Jessie will be sadly missed, left to cherish her memory are her daughter Audrey (Moran) and her son George Reshaur (Joan) along with 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. Jessie was born in the Ottawa Valley Renfrew area. Her family moved west and eventually farmed in the Katrime district, where she met her husband Robert John. Jessie was predeceased by her husband Robert in November, 1969; son Fred in 1992; a baby boy Alan in 1926; brother Stewart in the seventies; father George Jack in 1947 and mother Grace in 1954. Jessie lived on her own into her 90th year and will be remembered for her independent nature and strength of character. She loved to travel, enjoyed people and was gifted with a wonderful sense of humour. Jessie was a long time member of the Rebbeca Lodge and St. Stephens Broadway United Church. She enjoyed volunteer work for over 15 years at Misericordia General Hospital. The family wishes to extend their appreciation and gratitude to the staff at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg for their kind and gentle care. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 20 at 10:00 a.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 232 Kennedy Street. Interment will follow in Katrime, Manitoba. Pallbearers will be Andre Reshaur, Rob Moran, Pat Moran, Brian Golding, Stephen Golding and George Golding. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice or the Childrens Hospital of Winnipeg Research Foundation Inc., 108 - 671 William Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 0Z2.
