LUISA LUCIDI (DI UBALDO) Luisa passed away October 16, 1999. She is leaving to mourn three sister-in-laws, two in Canada and one in Italy, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Camillo in 1991. Luisa was born in Piano Vomano Teramo, Italy on April 26, 1917. She came to Canada in October, 1956, and married her husband Camillo on November 17, 1965. Luisa worked in a sewing factory for many years until retirement. One of her greatest enjoyments was working in her garden and she loved to tell stories of her past. She loved to knit and crochet. Luisa attended mass every Sunday at Holy Rosary and loved to sing along with the choir. Many thanks to the doctors and staff at the Grace General Hospital 5 North for their kindness and compassion. Prayers will be said Tuesday, October 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 20 at 10:00 a.m., also at the church, with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding. Entombment will follow at the Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverley St. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations may be made to the Manitoba Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation 100 Olivia St., Winnipeg, MB R3E 9Z9.
