SIGRUN EIHILDUR LYTLE It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Sigrun Lytle. After a brief illness faced with courage and dignity, Sigrun went peacefully to the arms of her Lord and Saviour on Sunday, October 17, 1999. She will be sadly missed by her loving and devoted husband Jack. They had recently celebrated their 45th anniversary on June 5th. Sigrun was a wonderful Mom to son Tim (Teresa) Lytle; son Robin (Nancy) Lytle and daughter Tracey (Rory) Fodchuk. Sigrun had nine grandchildren, Timmy, Tannis, Trevor, Daniel, Amelia, Joshua, Russell, Sarah and David. Sigrun was born on July 4, 1929 at Baldur, Manitoba. She is survived by her sisters, Myrtle Johnson of Manitouwadge, Ontario and Muriel (Cal) Kveder of Winnipeg and her brother Harold (Thea) Goodman of Surrey, B.C. She was predeceased by her parents, Snyder and Sigurlena Goodman; sister Sylvia and brother Steini. The family wishes to express their thanks and gratitude to Dr. K.L. Boyd and to the staff on Unit 3 at Victoria General Hospital for their compassion and dedicated care to Sigrun. Many thanks to all the church members for their kindness and support during Sigruns illness. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 22 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 45 Dalhousie Drive. A private family interment will be held Saturday, October 23 at Greenwood Cemetery in Carman, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oncology Fund at Victoria General Hospital, 2340 Pembina Hwy., R3T 2E8. Doyles of Carman in care of arrangements.
