EMILE (FATTY) GODERIS Peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, October 19, 1999 at the Lorne Memorial Hospital, Swan Lake, MB, Emile (Fatty) Goderis, aged 60 years of Swan Lake, MB, beloved husband of Louise Goderis (nee Van Den Bosch). Emile leaves to mourn his passing and to cherish his memory, besides his loving wife Louise, five children, Duane and wife Katherine Goderis, Jamie Goderis, Greg and wife Nicole Goderis, Cindy and husband Keith Richard, and Bradley and wife Anne-Marie Goderis; six grandchildren; mother Sarah Goderis; close friend, Gerry and wife Lianne Mauws; two brothers, three sisters, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by son Timothy Goderis, father Adrien Goderis, one sister, two nephews, and one cousin. Prayers will be said from the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Swan Lake, on Thursday, October 21 at 8:00 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated from the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Swan Lake, on Friday, October 22 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Cemetery, Swan Lake. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Emiles memory to the Lorne Memorial Hospital, Swan Lake, or to a charity of ones choice.
