LEO EMMANUEL CHALLE Leo Emmanuel Challe passed away in his 89th year on October 17, 1999 at the DeSalaberry Health Center in St. Pierre Jolys. He was predeceased by his wife Emma (Massicotte) and is survived by his sister Dolores Peterson, the Massicotte family and many nieces and nephews. Leo was a shy, quiet man who spent many hours tinkering with his inventions and repair work. Although a solitary person, he will be remembered by members of the community who have touched his life in special ways. He had a great fondness for sweets which he generously shared with children who held at place in his heart. Thanks go to his caregivers both at the hospital and Repos Jolys, with a special thank you to Rene Mulaire who was a good friend to Leo in his last years. Mass will be celebrated on October 20 at 4:00 p.m. at the St. Pierre Roman Catholic Church by Father Lefebvre c.s.v. with interment following.
