MARY LIDDELL On Friday, October 15, 1999 Mary Liddell left the Deer Lodge Centre to be with her Lord and Savior. She was 86 years of age. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, where three cousins still reside, Mrs. Amy Macrea, Mrs. Myrna Campbell and Miss Edna Stark. When Mary was two years old, she was brought to Winnipeg by her parents, John and Elizabeth Campbell, now deceased. She was also predeceased by a brother who succumbed to tuberculosis at the age of two. Mary graduated from St. Johns Technical High School following which she lived at home helping her ailing mother. In 1946 she married Andrew Liddell. Following his death in 1962 she became a Home Care Worker with the Victoria Order of Nurses. Mary was a Christian with strong connections to the Brethren Movement, but for some 16 years she attended Bethesda Church where her husband served on the church board. Following his death she worshipped at the Arlington Street Gospel Chapel. Following interment at the Elmwood Cemetery on Wednesday, October 20 at 12:30 p.m., a memorial service will be held in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway at 1:30 p.m. Mr. Jim Gilmour, an Elder of the Arlington Street Gospel Chapel, will be in charge of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Canadian Sunday School Mission or to the Child Evangelism Fellowship. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
