GEORGENE (GEORGETTE) BERNIER On Monday, October 18, 1999 at the Percy E. Moore Hospital, Hodgson, MB, Georgette Bernier of Fisher Branch passed away at the age of 80 years. Georgene (Georgette) was predeceased by her parents, mother Angelique, April 19, 1966, her father Louis Conan Sr. on June 15, 1982; husband Eugene on September 11, 1972; and stepmother Pauline. Surviving are sons, Henry (Lucy) and children, Marcel and Michelle of Fisher Branch, Lucienne (Diane), children, Eugene and Charlie of Kamloops, BC, Edward (Colleen) of Fisher Branch, George (Vivian), children, Crystal, Jennilee and Holly of Fisher Branch, Robert of Fisher Branch, John (Kathy), children, Melanie, Stacey and April of Fisher Branch; also surviving is her twin brother Louis Conan, sisters, Adrianne Caners and Angelique Bale, all of Fisher Branch and numerous nieces and nephews. After marrying Eugene Bernier on April 21, 1948 they resided on a farm north of Fisher Branch where they raised six sons. Georgette loved the outdoors, her garden and her flowers. Cremation has taken place. Prayers will be held on Thursday, October 21 at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Fisher Branch, at 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 22 at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment of cremains in the parish cemetery with Fr. David Kowalski officiating. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Georgettes memory to the Fisher Branch Personal Care Home would be greatly appreciated. "Youll be forever in our hearts and memories".
