Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH EDWARD GLASS (SARGE) On Saturday, October 16, 1999 at his residence, Kenneth Edward Glass, aged 78 years of Winnipeg. Ken was born June 8, 1921. He served with the P.P.C.L.I. during the Second World War in Italy and Europe. He continued to serve with the Signal Corps in the peacetime military and was with the United Nations Peacekeeping Force. He also served in the Middle East, Congo and Canada with the Airborne and as a Drill Instructor. In later years, he worked with the Commissionaires of Canada and at the Archive Building. Left to cherish his memory are sister Jean Lusk; brother Gary Glass (Jeanette) of Gold River; nephews, Eric Lusk (Anne) of Camp Borden, ON, Ian Lusk (Sylvia) of Winnipeg; niece Linda Dyer (Robin) of Winnipeg; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 22 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. with Padre Stan Miller officiating. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery, Military Section.
