ELSIE FLORENCE MOORE It is with great sadness that our family announces the sudden passing of Elsie Florence Moore at the age of 75 years. Remaining to forever cherish her memory are her husband John Stratford Moore; daughters, Sharon (Bruce), Rose, Alison (Roger) and Wanda (Phil) sons, Dan (Donna), Reg (Tammy) and her childrens father Harry. She also leaves her step-daughters, Marlene (Dave), Anne (Dennis) step-sons, Doug (Val), Don (Colette) and Bill (Elaine) sisters, Mary (Nick), Alma (Ron), Lena (Gus) and her brother Orville. She will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends. Elsie was born on December 28, 1923 in Amaranth, MB. She then resided in Ste-Anne, MB where her door was always open to anyone who came by. Her greatest loves in life were her family and playing bingo. Elsie was a bright and capable woman who reacted with courage to lifes challenges. She leaves a legacy of faith and hope to those near and dear to her. She was the queen of our world. "Elsie, you were an inspiration and a tower of strength to all of us. You taught us to love each other and all of mankind, to be humble and tolerant, and most of all, to stand on our own two feet but when we were unable to do so, you were always there. Your wisdom, wit and humour lives on and will always be part of us. Funeral services for Elsie will be held at the Sainte-Anne Roman Catholic Church in Sainte-Anne, MB on Saturday, October 23, 1999. Viewing will take place at 1:00 p.m. Father Edouard Bonin will celebrate the Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. The service will terminate at the church and cremation will follow. Interment of Elsies cremated remains will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make a donation in Elsies memory to a charity of ones choice.
