In the presence of his family, DaviCarr passed away peacefully on October 21, 1999 in Palliative care at the St. Boniface Hospital. David was the beloved partner and best friend of Karen; dear son of General and Mrs. Bill Carr and brother of Virginia Baldwin and Peter Carr. Memorial service was held at the Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway, at 12:00 noon on Sunday, October 24. Reception followed. The many kindness shown by so many friends to David and Karen during his very trying last several months can never be adequately acknowledged but will never be forgotten.
