Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER HOLIAN It is with great sadness that the family of Walter Holian announces his passing, on Thursday, October 21, 1999. Walter was born on March 13, 1913 in St. Norbert, Manitoba. Dad was predeceased by his wife of 35 years, Mary in 1983. Walter worked for twenty-five years with McCurdy Supply retiring in 1979. He served with the Canadian Armed Forces overseas from 1939 to 1945. Walter will be forever lovingly remembered by daughters, Darlene Vanderlip (George) and Linda Mann (Ed) and sons, Bruce and John (Cindy). Dad was especially proud of his grandchildren, Lori, Michelle (Darryl), Kris, Kiley and Danielle and great-grandchildren, Bailey and Nathen. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory brother John Holian and family and sisters, Anne Robinson and family, Irene Foreman and Kaye Genyk and family. Dad was always so hard working and his kindness to all was well known. Besides his wife Mary, he was predeceased by brother Pete Holian and sister Stella Anderson and niece Eva Gibbings. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at Deer Lodge Hospital, originally at T-3 and for the past year on T-5. Service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 26 at Shaughnessy United Church, 1493 Magnus Ave., with Reverend Cliff McMillan officiating. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery.
