TESSA ZACHARIAS (nee MARTIN) Passed away suddenly on October 20, 1999 in Port Moody, BC. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Henry Zacharias and her mother Gertrude Martin. Tessa leaves to cherish her memories to her son Chris Zacharias, his wife Melody and granddaughter Jessica. She is also mourned by her father Ed Martin; brothers, Ron (Dyanne) and Gordon (Joan) sisters, Myrna and Sheila; nieces, Brigette and Tamara; nephew Damon (Jennifer) and close friend Janis Nickel. Tessa was born April 1, 1946 in Altona, raised in Rosenfeld, moved to Winnipeg and married Henry where they lived for most of their lives. Just recently she moved to Vancouver to live with her son Chris. Her last years were filled with pride in her son Chris and the pleasure she found in a close bond with her daughter-in-law Melody and granddaughter Jessica. Tessas sense of humour and ready smile belied the struggles in her life. She will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held at her brother Rons house on Wednesday, October 27 at 4:00 p.m. at 792 Cloutier Dr., St. Norbert, Winnipeg.
