Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH EMILY HARRIS It is with deep sadness that the family mourns the quiet passing of Elizabeth Harris on Saturday, October 23, 1999 at the St. Boniface Hospital, after a lengthy hard-fought illness. Born on the Manitoba prairies in May, 1906, she left home to take up nursing at the Misericordia Hospital and later to marry her beloved husband George, who predeceased her in 1976; as well as her son Alex who predeceased her in 1977. She was a wonderful caregiver and enjoyed our family reunions large and small. Elizabeth is survived by Verna (daughter-in-law) grandchildren, Donovan and Eva, Michelle and Simon and four great grandchildren Brittany, Dorian, Brandi and Jordan - her pride and joy; sisters Isabelle, Frances and Barbara and brother-in-law Jack; as well as many nephews and nieces. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 27, at 1:00 p.m., at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., Aubrey St. entrance. Viewing prior to service.
