JESSIE BRUCE MAVER JOHNSON (nee McIntosh) Jessie Bruce Maver Johnson passed away on October 20, 1999 after a short illness. She was the beloved wife of Pat Johnson; loving mother of Danny (Cathy) Johnson, and Marlene (Alec) Mackenzie; and loving grandmother of Teresa and Robert Johnson. Jessie is also survived by her sisters, Mary and Margaret; and her brother Gordon (Patsy). She was predeceased by her mother and father, brothers, Bill, George, Thomas, and James and sisters Minnie and Esther. Jessie was born and raised in Headingley, Man. and moved to Vancouver with her husband shortly after their marriage in 1947. Jessie and her family moved to Chilliwack in 1965 and after raising her two children, she lived in quiet retirement with her husband. Her family was the most important thing in her life. She will be missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the B.C. Lions Society for Children with Disabilities, 300-177 West 7th Ave., Vancouver, B.C., V5Y 1K5. A funeral service was held on at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday October 23, at the Chapel of Hendersons Funeral Home. Major Angus Haggarty officiating. Interment to follow at the IOOF Cemetery.
