GIUSEPPE (JOE) PECCHIA On October 23, 1999 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Giuseppe (Joe) Pecchia died peacefully, surrounded by his family at the age of 90. Joe will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 57 years, Anna; daughter, Frances Baldwin and granddaughters Susanne, Andrea and Aynsley; daughter Adele Walker and husband Norman, special friends Richard and Diane Smith and Robin Kos. Joe was born in Italy on March 17, 1909 and immigrated to Canada in 1927. He spent his working years employed with Winnipeg Hydro at Point Du Bois, retiring in 1974. In Joes earlier years he was an avid fisherman and enjoyed his garden up until his passing. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday October 26, at 10:00 am in the Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Avenue, with Reverend Father Sam Argenziano Presiding at the Eucharist. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. The family would like to express sincere thanks to the St. Boniface Hospital, Emergency, 5E, 6E, 6A south and a special thank you to the Palliative Care Unit.
