BERT JONES BRUCE Peacefully on Sunday, October 24, 1999 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Bert Jones Bruce passed away at the age of 76 years. Bert was born at Poplar River and had resided there his entire life. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Caroline; six sons, William, Noah (Mabel), David (Mabel), Tobie, Ronald and Allan; stepbrother Daniel; stepsister Madeline Berens; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Wake services will be held on Monday, October 25; Tuesday, October 26; and Wednesday, October 27 at Poplar River. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 28 at 2:00 p.m. at the Poplar River Pentecostal Church, Poplar River, MB, with Pastor Alex Hudson officiating.
