EVELYN JEAN DEW After a brief illness, at the Stonewall Hospital, on Sunday, October 24, 1999, Evelyn Dew aged 80 years of Warren, MB. Born at Camper, MB December 22, 1918. She received her education at Meadow Lea and Woodlands. Following her education she married Colin Dew on October 5, 1939 and they lived and farmed at Woodlands until 1970, when they retired to Warren, MB. Evelyns primary interest was in her family. She enjoyed bingo, curling, painting and the outdoors. She enjoyed camping, which she did until this summer at Lundar. She was predeceased by her husband Colin in 1992 and two sisters, Edith and Olive. She is survived by one daughter Phyllis (Murray) Coolidge and one son Russell (Karol) of Kimberley, BC; six grandchildren, Blair (Nadine) Coolidge and their sons, Adam, Stuart and Graham, Penny (Dwayne) Swanson and their children, Eric and Neely, Krystal (Stu) Bremner, Kirk (Angie) Dew and their children, Josh, Codi and Riley, Todd (Marcie) Dew, Lori (Randy) Henry and their daughter Kaitlin; one daughter-in-law Anne Dew; three brothers, Charlie Larcombe, Bob Larcombe and Gordon (Elaine) Larcombe; three sisters, Gladys Yule, Phyllis Clark and Myrtle (Alf) Slatcher; brothers-in-law Hjalmer Olson, Allan Dew, Cecil (Ev) Dew and Al Reignier and one sister-in-law Anna Dew. A Memorial Service will be held in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall on Wednesday, October 27 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. J. Stennett will officiate. The Service will conclude at the chapel. Friends who so desire may make donations to the Stonewall and Districts Health Centre Foundation, 601-3rd Ave. S., Stonewall or to the Manitoba Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation, 100 Olivia St. Winnipeg, MB. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of the arrangements.
