Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNYKOLA (NICK) KACZAK Tragically on October 21, 1999, Nick Kaczak, aged 75 years, of Winnipeg. He was born in Holyn, Ukraine on March 24, 1924. During the Second World War he had been taken to work in a Machine Camp. Following the war he left Germany and briefly farmed in England. In 1949 he immigrated to Canada and eventually settled in Winnipeg. Here he mainly worked as a presser. Life had been a winding road, but for a while, life seemed to be fuller with having been reunited with his daughter and discovering the blessings of two granddaughters. Nick is survived by his daughter Christine Van Beveren and her husband Wally and granddaughters Candace and Rebecca. We hope and pray you are at peace. Friends may call for viewing on Wednesday, October 27 from 2:30-3:00 p.m. at Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk followed by a graveside service at St. Clements Cemetery at 3:15 p.m. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
