Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY OWCZAR (nee DOMISH) Mary Owczar said good-bye October 25, 1999 in the Vita PCH after 94 years of gardening, cooking and working hard for her family. Mary was born in Lvov, Austria in 1905 and with her Ukrainian parents immigrated to Lockport then homesteaded in Sadlow near Craigsiding. Mary married her CNR foreman Mike Owczar in 1920. Mary was predeceased by husband Mike (1983) brothers, Daniel, Michael and John; sisters, Sophie and Anne; sons, Michael (infant) and Joseph. She will be sadly missed by brother William (Sally) of Winnipeg; sons, John (Irma) of Sprague, Bill (Isabel) of Peterborough; daughters, Rose Jernberg of Sprague, Anne Kleven of Thunderbay; daughter-in-law, Pauline of Winnipeg and 18 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Thanks to the staff at Vita PCH for their care and especially to Audrey Bedard for doing the special extras. The funeral is on Friday, October 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, with Deacon Lawrence Wakaruk officiating. Viewing prior to service only.
