PAUL WALTER SCHIEWE Paul Schiewe passed away peacefully in his sleep at Nanaimo Regional Hospital on October 22, 1999. Born on July 8, 1922 in Rhein, Saskatchewan, Walter spent most of his life in Winnipeg, Manitoba, moving to Parksville, B.C. in 1991. Predeceased by his wife Kathleen Stadnik in 1989 and his brother Sigismund of Thunder Bay in 1996. Survived and lovingly remembered by his wife Joyce; his sons, Warren, wife Terrie of Burnaby, B.C., Wayne, wife Sheila and granddaughters, Megan, Madelyn and Michaela of Delta, B.C.; granddaughter Jessika of London, England; his beloved sister Doris Krieger, husband Willimax and their family of Winnipeg; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
