KATHERINE DOROTHY CLANCY (nee CHAMBERS) On October 26, 1999 after a short illness, Katherine Clancy passed away. She lived a full, wonderful life and will be cherished always by her family: her son Rick (Laurie) brother Jack Chambers (Irene). She is also survived by her grandchildren Maeghan and Sean Clancy and nephew Brian Chambers as well as relatives in Australia. Born August 12, 1916 in Winnipeg where she resided all her life. She was predeceased by her parents Harold and Evelyn Chambers and her husband Richard on October 18, 1984. She was very active in sports, swimming, cross-country skiing and golfing. She really enjoyed playing bridge with all her friends and travelling. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 29 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. A gathering of family and friends will be held in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of their choice. The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Grace General Hospital.
