Predeceased by his beloved wife of 34 years, Margaret, he leaves to mourn his sons, Gerald (Cheri), Eric (Kathleen), Mark (Dana) and his grandson Shelby. Also left to mourn his passing are his sister Henny (Jesse) Borsuk of Stoney Mountain, brother Hans (Rienia) Klaasen of Florida, brothers, Gerard (Hilly) Klaasen, Bertus (Sjaake) Klaasen, sisters, Martha (Gerrit) Overdykink, Willy (Bart) Pennekemp, and his youngest sister Irene, all of the Netherlands; their families and many friends. Ben was born in Zutphen, Netherlands on January 7, 1937. He was most proud of having served as a surgical aidman in the Dutch Army. He was a tireless worker and took great pride in all that he did. A devoted husband, and dedicated to his family, he always put their needs ahead of his own.
