LAURA GERMAN On October 26, 1999 at the young age of 74, Laura Leokadia German moved from her home and family in Lindenwoods to her eternal home in heaven to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus. She was predeceased by her brother, Peter Gorzen. Left to grieve are her daughter, Olga Lockwood and grandchildren Philip and Laura, and her son Borys German and wife Pat and grandchildren, Shannon and Kimberly. Mom spent her life serving and loving others. She radiated Jesus in her life and modelled compassion, kindness, true love and humility, and undaunting devotion and faithfulness. She was a woman of prayer who, even in the end, walked by faith and not by sight. One of the greatest joys in her life over the past two and one half years was going to the Lions Manor Adult Day Club three times a week. She loved music and inspired and encouraged us to sing and play many instruments. A celebration service will take place on Saturday, October 30, at 10:00 am at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Highway. Viewing Friday, at 7:00 pm at the chapel, and prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her favourite charity, Trinity Television. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
