ANDREW SMYLSKI On Tuesday, October 26, 1999 in the Dauphin Regional Health Centre, Andrew Smylski of Dauphin, Man., passed away at the age of 92 years. Divine Liturgy and Funeral Service will be celebrated by Rt. Rev. Msgr. Michael Buyachok on Saturday, October 30 at 10:00 a.m. from the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Resurrection, Dauphin, with interment to follow in the Dauphin Riverside Cemetery. Prayers will be offered Friday evening, October 29 at 8:00 p.m. from the Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Chapel, Dauphin. Pallbearers will be Greg Smelski, Andrea Smelski, Travis Smelski, Don Stokotelny, Jim Marzyk and Lyle Stokotelny. All of Andrews friends and neighbours are to consider themselves Honorary Pallbearers. Crossbearer will be Joe Hrom. Left to mourn are his daughter, Josephine Stokotelny and husband Mel of Dauphin; sons, Maurice Smylski and wife Verna of Keld, Man., Ernie Smylski and wife Sylvia of Lac du Bonnet, Man,; grandchildren, Mary (Tom) Marzyk, Don (Mavis) Stokotelny, Lynda (Lyle) Thompson, Greg (Sherry) Smelski; four great grandchildren; brother, Alex Smelski and wife Josephine of Dauphin and sisters-in-law, Elsie Smelski, Julia Sametz and Mary Bernat, all of Dauphin, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Should friends so desire, contributions in memory of Andrew may be made to the A.L.S. Society or to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation. The Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Service have care of the arrangements.
