Date of Passing: Oct 27, 1999
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHERINE CARPENTER (nee SCHEIRICH) There will come a time when you believe everything is ending...that will be the beginning. A compassionate, loving, caring human being passed away from us on October 27, 1999. She was predeceased by her husband Wilfrid. Left to cope with the great void in our lives are her two daughters, Patricia and her husband Roger Fontaine and Carol and her husband Lloyd Curry. Also mourning are five grandchildren, Mark (Michele), Cathy (Dom), Colleen, Erin (Darren) and Patrick and five great-grandchildren, Melissa, Taylor, Teagan, Craig and Brendan. As well, she is survived by two brothers, Peter (Sharon) and Jake (Joan) and her sister Lorraine (Don) and a large extended family. Katherines family was the central focus of her life and shell be remembered for her teasing jokes and for her quick wit which were slowly taken from her by her illness. This gentle woman who never had a bad word to say about anyone, will be sorely missed. Her quiet presence was an anchor and touchstone in our whirlwind lives. She lived her life for those she loved and those she loved remember. According to her wishes, cremation has already taken place. A memorial service and reception will be held on Saturday, October 30 at 10:00 a.m. from Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. No. 1 East at Navin Road. Interment will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Katherines memory to the Parkinsons Foundation of Canada, 232 - 55 Bloor St., West, Toronto, ON, M4W 1A5. A cherished smile, a heart of gold, The dearest mother the world could hold. GREEN ACRES FUNERAL CHAPEL 222-3241
