Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKEVIN SCOTT WONG Suddenly, on October 26, 1999 in Winnipeg, Kevin Scott Wong, loving son of Jane and Robert Wong passed away at the age of 18 years. Kevin will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Jane and Robert Wong; his brother Richard Wong, all of Virden, MB; grandparents, Sherwin (George) Wong; great-aunt Mary, all of Winnipeg; his god-parents, Ted and Rosemarry Harris of Winnipeg; his aunts and uncles, Ken (May) Wong and their family of Mount Virden, Washington, Henry Woo and his family of Vancouver, BC, Bonnie (Derek) Pratt and their family of Winnipeg, May Chinn and her family of Burlington, Washington, Bill (May) Quon of Winnipeg; his cousins, Ken and Allan of Winnipeg and Tim of Montreal, Quebec, Faye (Jason) and their children, Jolene and Jordon of Calgary, Alberta; as well as numerous cousins, aunts and uncles all over Canada and Hong Kong. Kevin was born on January 10, 1981 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and was raised most of his life in Virden, Manitoba. In September of this year he moved to Winnipeg to further his education by attending the University of Manitoba. Kevin was very active in all school sports. He enjoyed participating in hockey, volleyball, basketball, baseball, karate and golf. He earned many awards and prizes being a participant. He was a good natured son who always was kind and loving to the younger and older generations. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 2 at Kerrs Funeral Chapel, 120 Adelaide Street. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. Special thanks are extended to the Virden Community; in particular Linda Lane, Sandy Hayward, Charlene Forbes, Don Angus, Lori Reid, and Shirley (Eddie) Tang of Mount Virden, Washington for all their loving care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kevin may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association of Manitoba. KERRS FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements, ph. 943-6688.
